How can you make a million dollars? Ask “The Millionaire Maker”, J. Earl Shoaff.
Book #8 to financial independence is so short, you’ll get there in a cinch.
The title, “How to Become a Millionaire”, can be translated to “How to get everything you want out of life”.
Famously known for being Jim Rohn‘s mentor, J. Earl Shoaff had a short-lived, but influential impact on modern personal development.
One would think you would need volumes and volumes on how to become a millionaire, however, coming in at 21 pages short, J. Earl Shoaff shows that it’s very simple. It’s not easy, but it’s simple. Mr. Shoaff briefly describes the universal laws that people tend to forget, but still have a tremendous amount of pull when it comes to everyone’s growth.
Not only does it take a certain train of thought to master the secrets to success, you must also strive towards consistently being creative and applying positive energy in the best possible ways.
You reap what you sow can sum up Mr Shoaff’s teachings. His example of “What kind of car do you want?” makes us realize that we have to determine, in absolute terms, what we want to get.
What kind of car DO you want? Take the time to write it down on a piece of paper. Is it a Cadillac? Is it a Lexus? Maybe a Corvette Stingray. Do you have it now?
How did you define what you wanted? Did you define the kind of car you wanted in objective or subjective terms? An example of a subjective term would be, “I want a nice Lexus.”
The Broke Investor can assure you that a nice Lexus can get (un)nice, fairly quickly. A cool Cadillac can have your least favorite color on it. The best thing to do when defining what you want is to set what it is you want in objective, definite terms. A 1936 Cadillac looks way different than a 1962 Cadillac.
With the ability to describe things, any broke investor can get out of an undefined journey and get set straight on the road to financial independence.
If you can define, write down, and describe every drop of your dream that you have in your mind, you will have your dream in no time. This was one of Mr. J. Earl Shoaff’s strongest beliefs.
