Deciding on a set of worthy goals will get anyone on the right track towards success.
The Broke Investor can attest to this. Without goals, there is minimal to stride for. What’s even better than setting goals is telling someone about your goals. Then, you’ll have someone to hold you accountable for reaching them.
Let’s all get in the habit of writing down daily, weekly, monthly, and if possible, yearly goals. Once we have them by our side, we can always fall back on them whenever we think we are off track.
If you don’t remember, the S.M.A.R.T. Goals formula:
S – Specific, M – Measurable, A – Achievable, R – Results-focused, T – Time-bound.
Once we get into the habit of setting S.M.A.R.T. goals, it will become 2nd nature. You will start enjoying setting and reaching your goals, which in turn will boost your self-esteem.
Keep growing, keep investing. Even if you are, The Broke Investor.
